Air Rescue Cares
For over 70 years, Air Rescue has been proudly serving the Tampa Bay community and its residents, and with each year, our love for our community grows. In order to say “Thanks” and show our unequivocal commitment to giving back to our community, we are proud to announce Air Rescue’s new
CALVIN FOSTER PROGRAM
Tampa Bay residents, Calvin and Barbara Foster, recently touched our hearts when we were hired in November 2014 to inspect the couple’s air conditioning unit at their home in Riverview, Florida. Upon inspection, it was apparent that simply repairing the AC unit wasn’t going to be possible. The Fosters needed an entire air conditioning system overhaul which was going to cost the couple approximately $15,000 in charges. Then…like we try to do with each Air Rescue customer, we got to know the Fosters.
While getting acquainted with Calvin and Barbara, we learned an important piece of information: Calvin had terminal lung cancer. The doctors had given him 6 months to live in February 2014 and when we met him in November, he was living on borrowed time. As a company, Air Rescue rallied together and made the cohesive decision to not only replace Calvin and Barbara’s air conditioning system for free, but also to provide free AC service to the Fosters. . . forever. Sadly, Calvin succumbed to his illness on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his Riverview home at the age of 87.
Nominate Someone In Need
At Air Rescue, we remain committed to giving back to the Tampa Bay community that has graciously allowed us to serve them for so many years. In Calvin’s memory, we’ve created a program that gives us to the opportunity give an air conditioning system to a family in need multiple times throughout the year.
We know a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet these days and we’d like to hear from you! Please take some time and fill out the below form to nominate a family that is worthy of the cause.
